The UM99 proceedings will be published by the publishing house Springer Wien New York and formated according to a style based on the style of the series Lecture Notes in Computer Science of Springer-Verlag, Heidelberg/Berlin. How to Decide Which Text Formating System to Use
What to RetrieveFor all authorsRetrieve and print a PostScript file with specific instructions for the preparation of UM99 camera-ready manuscripts: For LaTeX and Word usersRetrieve and install on your working subdirectory a template file that produces the above-mentioned instructions and can be used as a starting point for the new version of your manuscript:
For LaTeX users onlyRetrieve and install on a LaTeX input-file directory the following files:
Note: The last two files have names starting with "um97" because they were originally developed for UM97 and no changes have been found necessary. (Optional, for those who seek further advice on typesetting details:) Retrieve and print a PostScript file (21 pages) with Springer-Verlag's own detailed advice for users of its LaTeX style files: What to Do If There Are Questions or ProblemsWith questions about the use of the template and style files, send e-mail to Anthony Jameson (jameson@cs.uni-sb.de).
