Project Implementation and Evaluation
Due Date: 6:00 pm, Sat, Nov. 27
There are three parts of this report that will each be marked out of 10:
Revised Analysis and Design
This is an opportunity to get credit for making the required /
suggested revisions to your previous report. If you do not, you will
get the same mark (this time out of 10, i.e half of the previous mark
that was out of 20) as you previously got on your analysis and design
report. If you make revisions, please use Word's "track changes"
feature to include them on the copy of your previous report that you
submitted for marking. That way I will better be able to identify the
changes and to determine if they improved the analysis and design.
Implementation
The particular way of developing your implementation will depend on
your project.
- It is important that you clearly explain what you have done to
implement your design.
- It is also important to explain why you did what
you did and to discuss what worked and what did not work.
- Remember to
focus on those aspects of your project that have the most to do with
the material from this class.
Evaluation
It is important that you find a way of evaluating your implementation.
- In some cases, that can be done by selecting suitable test cases
and explaining how your project would deal with them. Remember, that
suitable involves enough to establish the range over which your project
works, as well as where it is not robust enough to work. If all your
test cases work fine, you might not have enough test cases.
- In other cases, you will have to devise alternate means of
establishing how well your implementation works. Again it is important
to determine both where it works and where it no longer works.
