The appointment will commence July 1, 2012. We are seeking an outstanding entry-level faculty candidate in the areas of Computer Graphics/Multimedia/Visualization. The individual will have an opportunity to contribute to our multi-disciplinary initiatives in health, synchrotron science, high performance computing, digital humanities, and human-computer interaction. We will also seriously consider outstanding candidates in software engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to our CIPS accredited degree programs, including our Software Engineering program, and to programs within the College of Engineering. Applications must have a PhD in computer science or equivalent. The Department of Computer Science is highly respected locally, nationally, and internationally for the quality of its academic programs and research. The Department is also known for its collegiality and supportive environment and is home to a diverse collection of vigorous research programs. It offers graduate programs at the MSc and PhD levels with about 120 graduate students enrolled. It has professional accredited undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Software Engineering.
