Travel
I enjoy travel, and being centrally located has its advantages. My wife and I took our camper van (our "Touring machine") all across Canada, from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast, and dipped our toes in two of the three oceans that form our country's border. Some pictures from our Canadian travels are available here.

At the Bandelier National Monument near Santa Fe, New Mexico (fall 2002).

A potpourri of pics from other memorable trips:

Sporting Passions
My spirits rise and fall seasonally with the fortunes of the Saskatchewan Roughriders (Grey Cup champions in 1966, 1989, 2007 and 2013), the Boston Bruins (Stanley Cup champions in 1970, 1972 and 2011), the Toronto Blue Jays (World Series champions in 1992 and 1993), and, of course, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies (Vanier Cup champions in 1990, 1996 and 1998).

The Sports Pages

As far as my personal athletic pursuits go I played fast-pitch softball for many years with the legendary Black Velvet Bandits who went undefeated for two consecutive years in the 90s.

I attended the 1995 Final Four in the Seattle Kingdome. This (believe it or not) is a picture taken from my seat. See the tiny little court ... UCLA beat Arkansas (who were the defending champions) in the final.

School Days
I recently attended my high school reunion at which this picture of my class on the last day of high school was among those displayed.
