I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan. My primary research interest is in building technology to measure, analyze and act on sensed human behaviour. I collaborate with health and social science researchers as user communities, but remain at heart, a tool builder. I have research interests in leveraging sensed human behaviour for ubiquitous games and exergames. I teach courses at the introductory level, upper level courses computer game programming, robotics and machine learning, and at the graduate level on sensing human behaviour. I am also the lead instructor for the new CS Early Start program which allows talented high-school students to get a head start on their Computer Science degree. I am a member of the DISCUS lab, and a project co-lead within the GRAND-Network Centre of Excellence.
