Paul's primary research interest is in the development of metasystems for supporting the development of information systems. Such support includes automated tool generation for numerous requirement and design methodologies. Secondary research interests are compilers and object-oriented systems. Paul has co-authored numerous books over the last two decades and is presently co-authoring a book on discrete mathematics with W.K. Grassmann.
