Welcome to my Homepage
My name is Niklas Carlsson; I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate with
Carey Williamson, at University of Calgary.
My research is on performance evaluation and modeling of distributed systems and networks.
I successfully defended my thesis in December 2006. My thesis work was done in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan under the supervision
of Derek Eager.
Between January 2007 and June 2008 I worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow
under the supervision of Derek Eager.
I love research and teaching; my primary long-term objective is to obtain a tenure-track
Assistant Professor position. I hope that you will enjoy my homepage. It mainly consists
of information about my life, my research, and other interests.
