The Department is situated in the Thorvaldson Building with the main office located in Thorvaldson 176.  The department office provides limited photocopying, fax, and document scanning resources to graduate students for purposes related to their research (students or their supervisors are responsible for copying/faxing costs).  Requisitions for keys are handled by the Graduate Correspondent.  Incoming and outgoing mail services are available.  Incoming mail is placed in individual mailboxes for graduate student pickup.  Outgoing mail must bear sufficient postage (students or their supervisors are responsible for costs of postage).
Notice boards are located in strategic places around the office areas and are used to inform students about social and professional opportunities and events, both inside and outside the university as well as providing information on job opportunities, upcoming seminars, and other graduate programs.
