Can Saskatoon support the operation of an airport shuttle service? Don Cook, undertook a study for Saskatoon Transit Service to determine the feasibility of an airport shuttle service. Through the use of an Influence Diagram and a Decision Tree, an economic evaluation of a proposed shuttle service was prepared.
Don Cook, P.Eng., is the Traffic Operations Engineer for the City
of Saskatoon's Transportation Department. This study was
undertaken in fulfillment of the requirements of a masters degree
in engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.
