Open Access Laboratories

Lots of room

The Department has two open-access laboratories, one with seating for 24 students and the other providing seating for up to 120 students.

These labs are not booked as a general rule, so are available for use by all students enrolled in Computer Science and Bioinformatics courses.

Open Access Laboratories

  • Spinks 315 (seats 24 people at Macintosh computers)
  • Spinks 360 (seats 80 people at Linux / Windows computers)

Hours of Operation

  • Lab Hours: 24 hours a day.
  • Spinks Addition Building Hours: 7am - 11pm daily.
