ISM Scholarship

Description
ISM Canada's roots date back to the 1970's when SaskCOMP, a provincial crown corporation, and the Government System Centre were created to build the super-secure and reliable IT infrastructure services for Saskatchewan public agencies, departments and crown corporations. SaskCOMP and the Government System Centre, among others, were merged to create Westbridge Computer Corporation in 1989.

When IBM Canada purchased a minority stake in Westbridge in 1992, Information Systems Management Corporation (ISM) was formed. . In 1995, IBM purchased the remainder of the company, and most of ISM was merged into IBM Global Services. IBM Canada formed Regina-based ISM Canada in 2000, to position the company's unique 30 years of experience and success in serving the IT outsourcing needs of organizations whose employees are covered by collective bargaining agreements.
