How Make the Most of a Career Fair

Career fairs are a great way to learn about career opportunities with companies. Some companies are even looking to hire for summer or full-time positions at these events. In this session, students will learn tips on how to prepare for a career fair, what to bring to the career fair and what to do and say when they are meeting with recruiters.

At the end of this session, participants will:

  • Understand the differences between a career fair, an information session and a briefing session
  • Understand the role that networking plays in searching for employment
  • Identify strategies to network and connect with recruiters in a career fair setting
