Lingling Jin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan.
Her research focuses on computational modeling, prediction of genome evolution and ancestral genome construction. The objective is to improve the scientific knowledge of genome evolution in various biological systems through formal modelling and comparative genomics analysis, with a focus on a group of plant species.
Her research is currently supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Canada Foundation for Innovation, and Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.
