Deep Learning in Computer Vision
I have an active research group in deep learning, focusing on computer vision applications in agriculture. Our focus on agriculture is driven by the prominent role that agriculture plays in the Canadian economy, an excellent network of world-leading plant scientists and plant breeders with whom we collaborate, and access to large and unique datasets of plant and crop images.
My group develops the Deep Plant Phenomics open-source platform for deep learning in plant phentyping.
