Industry Connections
The Department of Computer Science strives to create strong relationships with industry and community organizations. We recognize the value of connecting post secondary education with industry experiences. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in our research, programs, and events.
Hire a CS Intern
Access the best emerging Computer Science talent in Saskatchewan through the Computer Science Professional Internship Program (CSPIP). Over 400 students have been placed on internships with corporations across Canada.
Engage with USask Students
The USask employer portal is a central hub for employers looking to connect with students from a variety of programs. Here is a sample of some of the things you can access on this site:
- post a job to students (outside of our internship program)
- find ways to engage with other USask programs
- schedule an information session on campus
- career fair dates and registration
- funding resources to help hire students
Support Through Sponsorship
There's no denying that donations play a big part in attracting the highest caliber of students to our programs. Awards and scholarships positively affect a student's academic experience and encourage further engagement at the academic and professional levels.
Attend a Career Fair

With an estimated demand of ~600 students wanting to attend the 2024 career fair, this is an excellent opportunity for employers to promote their companies.
