Carl Norum: USask to Silicon Valley

We are excited to announce a special presentation by alumnus Carl Norum as part of the Discover CS event.

Carl is a tech industry veteran with nearly 20 years experience in Silicon Valley. Currently working on embedded software for EV charging stations at ChargePoint, he's had previous jobs at automaker NIO, light-field camera startup Lytro, and household names Apple and Google. Carl holds BE (Electrical) and BS (Computer Science) degrees from the University of Saskatchewan.

In this presentation, Carl will share his journey from our campus in Saskatoon to the heart of innovation, Silicon Valley. The session will include a Q&A session, so attendees are encouraged to come prepared with their questions.
