Winter 2024 Programming Contest Recap

The Department of Computer Science held the Winter offering of our twice-annual programming contest on Saturday, Feburary 24.

Over 60 contestants attended this month's programming contest. Participants were greeted at the registration area with breakfast to fuel up before the contest started. The first 50 registrants also received a free t-shirt to commemorate the day!

After a practice session, teams got to work trying to solve 12 programming problems before the day was over. They enjoyed a pizza lunch midway through the contest, and then it was back to problem-solving. It was a fierce battle throughout the day, with multiple teams solving all the problems in the time allotted.

A big thanks goes to our event sponsors, BHP and Yardi. Both sponsors were in attendance to chat with students and organizers.
