Event sponsorships have a direct and meaningful impact on the student experience by allowing us to elevate our event offerings. These offerings create opportunities for skill development, inspiration, and career exploration, and foster a sense of community within our department and the tech industry.

Additional ways to support our students and enhance their university experiences include:

• Share your experiences by speaking in classrooms, student conferences, or seminars.
• Providing mentorship through the USask Connects program. 
• Invite students to visit your company headquarters. This may be in the form of an open house, a presentation on professional development, or a demo of your current projects. Our department is happy to work with you to promote such events to students.

Donors play a big part in broadening the department’s margin of excellence and attracting high caliber students to our programs. Awards and scholarships positively affect a student's academic experience and encourage further engagement at the academic and professional levels.

Fund for Excellence

The Computer Science Fund for Excellence was established in 1988 to advance new initiatives that enhance the excellence of the department's programs in a manner that complements, rather than replaces, traditional sources of University funding. Contributing to this fund is one way to support the department.

Start Your Own Scholarship or Award

Donor-funded scholarships and bursaries are one way for you to express your passion for academic enlightenment, values in the community, or pay tribute to a beloved family member or colleague. While scholarships recognize academic excellence, bursaries focus on addressing the financial needs of our students. The Department of Computer Science follows the University of Saskatchewan regulations and procedures for donations.
